More About Our Garden Restoration Service

Ideal if borders are swallowed, shrubs are out of shape, and the garden needs a “back to manageable” overhaul.

u

Has time-consuming life and work commitments left your garden to become overgrown from the once perfectly manicured space it once was?

u

Have you recently moved to a property that has a variety of mature shrubs and plants and has been left to become overgrown?

u

Do you not have the time, manpower, equipment or means to get rid of the huge amount of green waste to be able to do an initial clearance of your garden?

u

Is it important that you find a team of gardeners that you can trust to spend the extra time being careful to preserve mature shrubs and plants in between the overgrowth?

We understand and want to help.

A lot of “clearance” work is just chaos: everything gets chopped, good plants get destroyed, and the garden looks worse six months later.

We take a different approach:

N

We identify what’s worth keeping before we remove anything

N

We prune with correct timing and technique — protecting plant health and future shape

N

We restore structure to borders and beds, so the garden is manageable going forward

N

We can then put a maintenance plan in place, so it doesn’t slide back again

N

Guided by Jonathan Gregory BSc (Hons), MHort, we’re plant-led – which is exactly what overgrown gardens need.

The Root of the Problem

We offer a thorough, service that identifies plants and shrubs that can be kept between the brambles, nettles, and invasive weeds. Our team will take the time to prune and restore shrubs and plants and weed and clear around them to restore your garden back to its former glory. Forking out weed roots and taking out brambles roots is often the hardest but most important part of a clearance. Our clearances can involve going through border by border clearing the roots to give you the best start to maintaining your grounds or garden. Ensuring that once cleared the overgrowth does not rush back into full growth to overwhelm you in the future

On-Going Support Once Complete

We offer a regular maintenance service or landscaping solutions to keep on top of your garden once cleared. Whether it’s rotovating and planting borders up to populate and create less room for weeds. Or to pave or gravel the area – we will always offer you an assessment of future care of your garden.

Peace of Mind

Not knowing how much waste will be generated from your clearance or restoration, or how many skips will be needed – means it becomes hard to budget to do the work yourself. Our Assessment beforehand will lead to a fixed price proposal – so you know the exact cost to get the work done and waste cleared from your garden.

Blank Slate

In some cases, we realise that our customers want a blank slate before planning their new garden. Clearing everything from the garden and realising the space available can generate fresh inspiration and get the wheels in motion to start on designing and landscaping your outdoor area.

Who Our Garden Restoration Service Is For (and Not For)

We’re a Great Fit If…

  • You’re in Derby or Nottingham and have a garden that needs a proper reset

  • You want expert pruning and careful plant decisions, not a “cut everything back” approach

  • You’re happy with a minimum spend from £360 (incl. VAT) plus waste disposal costs if required

  • You care about the garden looking good long-term, not just temporarily neat

We’re Probably Not the Right Choice If…

  • You want the cheapest clearance quote purely to remove waste

  • You’re looking for a quick “mow and go” tidy for a very small garden

  • You mainly want someone to “just get rid of everything” with no care for plants

Being upfront saves everyone time.
